Responsibilities:

• Serve as the instructional leader for K-5 Judaic and General Studies, and set clear expectations for excellent teaching and learning.
• Oversee student culture, safety and wellbeing using a restorative and growth oriented approach
• Ensure coherent curriculum and assessment, and champion the integration of Judaic and General Studies, along with experiential Judaic programming
• Coordinate student support, as well as referrals and reassessment opportunities
• Communicate regularly with families
• Manage division operations, including scheduling, staffing, budgets and compliance
• Recruit, hire, onboard and develop excellent faculty

Qualifications:

• Master's degree preferred
• 5+ years in education with increasing leadership responsibility, prior divisional leadership strongly preferred
• Background in Jewish day schools or closely aligned settings welcomed; Hebrew literacy a plus
